The Lady Merci will be the safest and the most modern dive boat operating out of Puerto Galera. She will have a cruising speed of 24 knots. This enables us to get you there and back quickly, and in comfort. It is simple really; we give you more time for diving. It will enable us to take you to dive sites as far away as Anilao, Maricaban or, to Verde Island drop off and more.

The Lady Merci is a 40 Feet mono haul with a broad beam of 12 feet which makes it an ideal dive boat. This feature makes for a more stable platform to dive from. She is fitted with an HP compressor and 30 dive tanks.

Propulsion:
Powered by two 205 HP Caterpillar Engine. The “Lady Merci' has a comfortable carrying capacity of 20 Divers, plus staff and all equipment.

Safety:
'Lady Merci'' and her safety equipment and 'Fit-Out' meets and exceeds all International Safety Standards.

Background:

From our own observations and from listening to the feedback from our divers over the years it was early in 2008 when we at Marco Dive Resort made a decision that diving services in and around Puerto Galera could do with some improvement. The first of these improvements would be the acquisition of a new, modern, safe, fast and comfortable Dive Boat.

After a thorough search of local industries we eventually chose a builder who specialized in constructing export quality boats.

In Co-operation with The Boat Shop, we came up with the design of our new dive boat. The construction period lasted five months, after which we took possession of a twelve meter dive boat able to carry 18 divers at high speed, in comfort.
